However, it was the Roworth family who saw its untapped potential and decided to reimagine what the space could be.

With 30 years’ experience in engineering before transitioning into teaching, Brendan has always found purpose in sharing knowledge and skills with others.
But his passion for quality wine has been a lifelong thread, leading to a clear vision over a decade ago to transform the Boatshed into something unique.
Brendan thrives collaborating with independent winemakers who share his dedication to craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Kathy began her career as a chef, and while life took her out of the kitchen after having kids, her passion for food and hospitality never left.
She's always found ways to stay connected to the industry she loves.
Like many chefs, Kathy brings a fiery energy to her work, but her true
happy place is unwinding with a glass of Peregrine Shiraz at the end of a long day.
At the Boatshed, you’ll find her chatting with guests, making sure every experience is memorable, and every detail is just right.

Chloe inherited her love of cooking from her mother, Kathy - whether Kathy meant to pass it on or not. After several years as a food’s teacher, Chloe found her true calling in the kitchen at Boatshed Food & Wine.
With a refined palate and a flair for creativity, she brings bold and delicious ideas to life, always pushing to surprise and delight guests.
Chloe is constantly on the lookout for fresh flavours and unique dishes to keep the menu evolving and guest experiences unforgettable.

With over fifteen years of experience in the industry, Tom brings a unique blend of hospitality know-how and financial expertise to Boatshed Food & Wine. Whether working behind the bar or as a Chartered Accountant, his passion for the hospitality world has never wavered.
These days, Tom keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes, making sure the numbers add up and the team stays on track. But if you’re lucky, you might occasionally spot him behind the bar, mixing up a cocktail or two. A lover of well-balanced books, Tom also has a soft spot for a great glass of wine and a delicious new craft beer.
